Human Albumin/Cytochrome C diffusion cell
I ran another diffusion cell last week using Human Albumin and Cytochrome C. I increased the volume of PBS because the last time I ran the gel for this mixture, the band for cytochrome c was very prominent. Out of the three chambers of the diffusion cell that I ran, only one of them actually worked in the gel. However, retentate was present on the wells of all three of the membranes when I took the diffusion cell apart. The membranes used for the experiment were from wafer 565, positions: 2,2 (R1), 2,3 (R2) and -2,3 (R3). Only R1/F1 are present in the gel below. The cytochrome c is present in the gel, however I don’t see the human albumin. Although it’s hard to distinguish faint lines in this gel.
