SSI RTP software updated to version 3.8
I updated the software for the SSI. The software seems to be working properly. There are some differences, most of which I haven’t fully explored. Notably, we can open and view log files easily with 3.8.
It seems that we may need to alter all of our current recipes to make them compatible with 3.8. My first test of the warmup and a simple 900 C 100 C/s for 6o s led to wild temperature and power swings. Wayne Morrow (helpful SSI contact) pointed out that our Hold steps have a REM/Intensity setting of 6, while he believes it should be at 32. After changing the setting for one recipe, the RTP performed perfectly.
I’ll try to get all of the recipes updated, but I won’t have time to test them all. So just make sure you always run a test process before your actual samples.
