Schematic of Long Term Clearance Test Setup.
This is the setup used for the long term clearance testing. The fraction collector can be set to advance to the next collection tube at set intervals from 1 min to 99 min.
I am currently conducting an evaporation test with both PBS and 100% serum. I weighed six collection tubes, two were filled with 300 µL of PBS, two were filled with 300 µL of serum (the serum and PBS were also weighed). One tube of each liquid is sealed with parafilm. All tubes were placed in the refrigerator. I will re-weigh the tubes and fluid after 24 to 30 hours to determine the average evaporation over the test duration.
