  • Laminates of GO from 0.1 to 10 um thick on copper foil with an etched hole of 1 cm.

  • Casually mentions >1.5 psi applied to materials < 1 um thick over 1 cm diameter hole. This seems to suggests a strong burst pressure but with no real data or experimental details, this is difficult to evaluate.
  • Gasses don’t flow through dry membranes. Measured by this leak detector. The humidity of the environment is shown to be a big deal later, but is not discussed in the context of these experiments. Presumably without water on at least one side of the membrane, water vapor does not enter the membrane.
