I’ve long been searching for a low-voltage way to drive some micro-actuators. Electrokinetic pumps looked good but until now the necessary voltage was far too high.

About a month after receiving the chips she sent us this update …

Finally built a membrane tester. These pumped approximately 100 micro liters during an hour at 30V with Pt wire electrodes in 100 mM kcl. It is great being able to use such high salt concentrations. It was even pumping against a small pressure gradient.
