diffusion observed using the prototype chamber with background noise
Last week Jess and I did some diffusion tests using the prototype chamber. We observed there was some fluorescence background noise from the plastic substrate. So we decided to make the buffer well (the hole on the substrate) all the way through the Polycarbonate sheet and seal the well with a slide. We can see this design change in the newly manufactured chamber in another post.
We got a movie showing diffusion of R6G. The membrane is from wafer 306, coated with 10nmTi + 15nmAu. But the movie size exceeds the upload file limit. Maybe we can try to reduce its size later and paste it here.
