new version of the diffusion chamber
Since Paul sent an email saying he will be on leave from this week, I spent some time in the hopeman metal workshop with Paul working on our second diffusion chamber before he leaves. We actually failed four substrates before we made it.
Here is the enhanced version. First, we made the hole through the substrate to get rid of the fluorescence background noise. So now we need to use a slide to seal this hole before loading the buffer solution. Second, the two trenches are separated to prevent the Pt wires from touching each other. Third, the arm of the clamp is made adjustable.

New Chamber
Can you post an image of your new chamber that is in focus? I’m having trouble understanding the structure.
