Fibroblast Adhesion Update

Four more adhesion experiments were carried out and the results can be seen in the following charts.

Based on the average of the four trials it can be elucidated that the initial adhesion (after ~7 hours) is pretty much the same in all the substrates.

In trial 3 & 4 it can be seen that the serum free readings are higher than the others. This might be because serum proteins and cells compete for adhesion and thus more cells attach in absence of serum.

In trial 5 & 6, the samples were left overnight (~12 hours) and it can be seen that the readings exceed the 100% mark. This might be because the cells would have undergone some division.

(Note: glass and pncSi samples are with serum). We have HUVEC adhesion going on and just waiting for some more trials to finish so that they all can be put together.
