Notes from PSST 2014
The International Conference for Porous Semiconductors Science and Technology, 2014, was last week in Benidorm, Spain. Jim was kind enough send me to represent NRG. Dave Fang gave a great talk at PSST based on pnc-Si data in 2010.

A quick summary would break the conference into group using nanoporous Si for sensing or drug delivery application. A lot of the talks were based on the formation and use of nanoporous nanoparticles. There was also a relatively large selection of talks based on Metal Assisted Etching (MAE). I think there was only one talk on Anodized Aluminum Oxide membranes. There no talks regarding applications such as filtration, or EO. There were a few groups studying the effect of pore size/pore density on cell growth.
