This will be a very brief post, but kind of an interesting one. I have been attempting to get my identification of exosomes by immunogold labeling and that hasn’t been going terribly well. I think that it is due to a wealth of complications including a lack of fixed exosomes, salt contamination and other problems….
Hello everyone! After a long time waiting and setting up, the new AJA and RTP at Vanderbilt University now are ready to go! Here are a couple of pictures of the new AJA and RTP. I have been working on testing the new AJA for a while with my old recipes. The new AJA system…
Introduction We are aiming to make device assembly easy and quick, particularly for distribution to non-engineering laboratories. We are collaborating with ALine to develop assembly via pressure-sensitive adhesion techniques. Assembly Process Modular Device Assembly Animation2 We made ten devices with porous membranes and ten with non-porous membranes to show no leakage. Current Issues and Potential…
A two multi-channel chip device was fabricated with gaskets and PDMS caps. The Upper fluidic
First things first, the desalting column is not intended to desalt. Apparently that’s just an old name that has carried over. The current purpose is to separate viruses from large debris after sonication. The sample in a buffer solution will be placed in the center of the cartridge and sonicated in the “glass bead pod”….
A few weeks ago, I posted discoloration results on carbonized membranes here. It was 6 weeks yesterday since I started this experiment, so I decided to stop it (few, if any, cell applications require 6-weeks of culture). These were SC141 chips in the flat (not transwell) format. I also used DMEM with high NaHCO3 levels. …
