Time after RTP – discoloration
For this experiment, I looked into the stability of RTP treatment. Specifically, I tested discoloration rates for chips at different time points after I did RTP. The idea was to see if the beneficial effects of RTP depended on the time that chips were stored after RTP processing. Here’s the data:
All chips were from w625, and tests were done in DMEM/F12 with 10%FBS. Experiments were started on the day of RTP, 1 day after RTP, 4 days after RTP, 1 week after RTP and 2 weeks after RTP (from left to right in figure). A non-RTP’ed sample served as a control for each experiment.
As you can see, discoloration started after about 3 days in media at each tested time point. Discoloration was pretty much complete after ~ 6 days in media. So, the time that chips sit on the bench after RTP doesn’t seem to affect the rate of discoloration.
