SEM imaging of neutrophil transmigration through collagen gel

Kilean re-imaged some of my old samples with neutrophil transmigrating through the collagen gel. This sample was prepared and imaged on June 25th, 2017, and kept under dry conditions. Surprisingly, the top gel kinda got delaminated and we can see the gel peeling off the top surface. The neutrophils can be seen on and below the gel, as well as sitting on the membrane after they leave the top gel. The bottom gel or the membrane trenches were not imaged. The images are self-explanatory.

Feel free to ask any question if any image is confusing or difficult to understand. Thanks to Kilean for the initiative of re-imaging.
