Proposed time-dependent PEG treatment studies
In my previous post talking about the contact angle measurement of 3-mer coated PEG, there was a lack of adequate controls, and also an unanswered issue of contamination of samples during storage. I would now like to refine the study in more -controlled fashion, and without reusing the old chips. In addition, I am also going to compare the CA results from 3-mer PEG with Adarza’s PEG (ethanol amine). The final nature of data should mimic this table.
| Treatment | UV Ozone | 3-mer PEG | Adarza PEG | ||||||
| Storage | Aqueous | Gel Pack | Vacuum | Aqueous | Gel Pack | Vacuum | Aqueous | Gel Pack | Vacuum |
| Day 0 | |||||||||
| Day 1 | |||||||||
| Day 2 | |||||||||
| Day 3 | |||||||||
I believe that this study will establish which treatment is better, and whether the usual storage condition (Gelpack) is suitable or not.
Any suggestions? Any more controls, or experimental conditions?
