Wafers 398 and 418: Burst Pressure
Transferred from other blog…
Wafers 398 and 418 were recently tested for burst pressure.
Wafer 398 had a burst pressure range of 4.28-8.24 psi, with the great majority of intact membranes on the wafer having no or one tiny pinhole. When removing samples from this wafer more shards than usual were created, with some fragments landing on the membranes. Wafer 418 had a burst pressure range of .61-1.35 psi, and is riddled with pinholes. A complete presentation of sample locations and burst pressure is shown below.
| Wafer Number | Location | Burst Pressure (psi) |
|---|---|---|
| 418 | (3, -1) | .61 |
| 418 | (-2, -1) | 1.2 |
| 418 | (-2, -2) | 1.35 |
| 418 | (-2, -3) | 1.15 |
| 398 | (1, 2) | 4.28 |
| 398 | (2, 2) | 5.45 |
| 398 | (-2, -2) | 5.99 |
| 398 | (-3 ,3) | 8.24 |
