MATLAB Installation

Good morning,

We received some messages from customer who are having trouble logging into their Matlab account. If you are having trouble accessing Matlab, please see below for your update instructions. If you continue to have Matlab issues, please contact Matlab support at http://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us/index.html. License number 680214. Your activation Key is:28093-41703-14274-60467-52214.

Open Matlab.
Click Help
Click Renew
Click License update
Click Current License

PART A: Activate the new Total Academic Headcount (TAH) site license
#680214

1. Access the License Center in your MathWorks account here:
https://www.mathworks.com/licensecenter/

2. On the My Account page, click Manage Licenses.

3. On the My Licenses page, in the upper right hand corner click Add
License.

4. Select Activation Key and then press Continue.

5. Enter Activation Key 28093-41703-14274-60467-52214 and then
press Continue.

6. In the upper right hand corner, click on My Account.

7. Within the menu on the left column, under My Downloads please click
on Get Licensed Products and Updates.

8. From here, select the MATLAB Release and platform/operating system
and then choose Typical download. Or choose Custom to download just a
subset of the 52 toolboxes.

9. At this point you can use the Download Agent to automate the
download process which should start automatically. If you are unable to use the Download agent, you can select “Manual Download” to download the files one at a time. You will need to create a temporary directory
into which you can save the files. Click on the “Download” button for
each file and save it into your temporary directory.

10. Follow the remaining instructions on the screen.

11. Enter the machine or end-user name in the Activation Label field;
or afterward click on the “Activation & Installation” Tab, select this particular installation (based on HostID and date); click on the Activation Label; look under Details and click the actual Activation Label to bring up the Edit Activation Label dialog box. Type in the machine name (and user name if desired).

PART B: Deactivate your old/previous MATLAB license

1. Launch MATLAB

2. Help Menu -> Licensing -> Deactivate Licenses

3. Select the license you would like to deactivate and click on
Deactivate. (Note: Do not select the recently activated new TAH
license.)

4. Click Yes to continue.

5. There may be a prompt with a deactivation string, if so, then
please ignore.
